Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Kingshot KVK Prep Scheduler, available at kingshotprep.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, with or without an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you sign in, you are additionally confirming that you accept these Terms and have read our Privacy Policy.

2. What the Service is

The Service helps kingdom and alliance organizers in the mobile game Kingshot plan Kingdom-versus-Kingdom (KvK) preparation-phase construction schedules. It lets an organizer import player form responses, estimate points, assign players to time slots, and download a save file. With an optional account, an organizer can also save schedules and publish read-only schedule links.

The Service is provided free of charge, with no ads, as a hobby project. It may change, break, or shut down at any time.

3. Unaffiliated fan project

Kingshot KVK Prep Scheduler is an unofficial fan project. Kingshot and all related titles, game content, names, and assets are trademarks and property of Century Games or their respective owners. Any game names or terms are used solely for identification and informational purposes. If you are a rights holder with a concern, reach us through our contact form (any report type works; state the concern in the description) and we will respond promptly.

Point estimates and scheduling suggestions are based on community-collected game data. Game updates may change mechanics without notice, and estimates may be wrong. Verify important decisions in-game before committing resources.

4. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be at least 13 years old, or older if the age of digital consent in your country is higher (for example, up to 16 in parts of the European Union). Signing in also requires that you meet the minimum age of the sign-in provider you use (Discord or Google).

5. Accounts

An account is optional and is used only for saving schedules and publishing read-only links. Sign-in happens through Discord or Google; we never see or store a password. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping access to your Discord or Google account secure. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or that abuse the Service.

6. Your content and other players’ information

Schedules you import, build, save, or publish (“Your Content”) remain yours. By saving or publishing through the Service you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service. Examples include storing a saved schedule in your account and serving a published schedule page to people who have its link.

Schedules typically contain information about other players: in-game names, player IDs, alliance tags, pledged resources, availability, and form comments. If you upload this information, you are responsible for having the right to use it. You confirm that:

• the players concerned provided their information for the purpose of KvK prep scheduling (for example, by filling out your sign-up form), and
• you will honor a player’s request to be removed from a schedule you manage.

Do not include sensitive personal information (real names, contact details, or anything beyond game-related data) in schedules or form comments.

7. Published share links

A published schedule is visible to anyone who has its link, without signing in. The link contains a long random ID and is not indexed by search engines or listed anywhere, but anyone the link is forwarded to can view it, so treat it like an unlisted page, not a private one. Published snapshots contain only player names and player IDs per time slot, not resources or availability. Revoking a link or deleting its schedule takes it down, although a copy already open in someone’s browser cache may persist for up to a minute.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful;
• upload content that is abusive, harassing, or infringes anyone’s rights, including uploading another person’s information without a legitimate scheduling purpose;
• attempt to probe, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure, or circumvent its rate limits and quotas;
• scrape or enumerate published schedule links or access schedules you were not given a link to;
• resell the Service or misrepresent it as an official Kingshot product.

9. Intellectual property

The Service’s own code, design, and original content are the property of its operator, all rights reserved. Game-related trademarks and data belong to their respective owners, as noted in Section 3. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service itself, but the schedules and save files you create are yours to use however you like.

10. Third-party services

The Service links to and works alongside third-party services: sign-in through Discord and Google, form templates hosted on Tally.so, and infrastructure providers described in the Privacy Policy. Those services have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available, error-free, or that point estimates, slot assignments, or any other output will be accurate or produce any particular in-game result.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the Service will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, in-game resources, or in-game progress, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service, which is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

If your use of the Service (in particular, information you upload about other players) leads to a claim against the operator, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of dealing with that claim to the extent it was caused by your breach of these Terms.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the Settings page, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, or discontinue the Service entirely, at any time. Where practical we will give notice, but we cannot guarantee it.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal dispute, please contact us. This is a small fan project, and nearly anything can be resolved with a message.
